About the team: collective
At Love Hair The Salon, we are a small but mighty team with over 52 years of combined experience. We have been working together solidly for more than 2 years, just us, and our connection goes beyond the salon floor making us a true hair family.
We all have shared passion and love for blondes & balayage, staying on top of the latest trends while each bringing our own unique talents to the same high standard. We have a love for education, and we're constantly inspired by leading hairdressers across Australia. To create a more personal, intimate experience for our clients, the majority of our appointments are one-on-one with your stylist, giving their full attention and care.
With regular team meetings, we uplift each other both personally & professionally - and we believe that shines through in the warm, welcoming, energy of our salon. No matter which stylist you see, you'll always feel a sense of ease knowing you're in trusted hands.
Caitlin Love.
Founder & Creative Director
With 15 years of experience in the hair industry and 4 years in business, Caitlin is an expansive hair stylist and salon owner by all means. For Caitlin, great hair is never rushed - it's created through care, intention and a genuine understanding of the person in the chair. Her strengths in hairdressing lies with blondes, balayage and she loves a complex colour correction.
A life long learner, Caitlin consistently invests in hair education, business strategy and wellness and mindset development each year as her passions.
The ongoing commitment not only keeps her at the forefront of her craft but shapes the calm, intentional environment she has created within the salon.
Katie Quye.
2IC Manager & Senior Stylist
Katie brings 9 years of experience to Love Hair The Salon and she has been a valued member of our team for 2 years now where she came in and added perfectly with the salons values and standards from her very first day with us. Katie is a quiet high achiever that is dedicated to her career and lifestyle. She is known as our blonde queen, delivering exceptional seamless blondes every time with efficient fine foiling and ensures to keep up with the latest trends to have clients feeling current and elevated.
Katie is thoughtful in everything she does, always striving to be her best self and this reflects her work within the salon and with her clients.
Carly Love.
Senior Stylist & Educator/Mentor
Carly is our highly experienced all rounder stylist bringing 25 years of hairdressing knowledge to our salon since we opened the doors to Love Hair The Salon 4 years ago. Carly is driven to always provide her wealth of knowledge and experience to every latest trend that is present. She has strong foundations of education and an eye for creative detail with confidence that sets her apart from the new generation of stylists. Carly continuously inspires her team and her clients with her deeply people focused personality creates a calm, judgement-free environment for all.
Mia Drengenberg.
Rising Stylist // 3rd year apprentice
Mia is our rising stylist in her third and final year of her apprenticeship, having been with us since the start of her career she has been growing alongside the business and establishing herself as a trusted member of the salon.
Known for her calm nature and attention to detail, Mia is steadily building her skills across colour, styling, nanoplasty and client care. Having trained within the salon from the start, Mia understands the standards, culture and level of care that define the client experience. She continues to develop into a confident and capable stylist.
Mikayla Armstrong.
Learning Stylist // 1st year apprentice
Our newest member to the team since November 2025, Mikayla started her apprenticeship with us where she quickly immersed herself in the pace and standards of salon life. Within her first 2 weeks, she undertook intensive training covering foundational skills typically learned over the first 6 months - a reflection of her focus and adaptability which is strongly admired in the hairdressing industry.
Despite being early in her career, Mikayla approaches every task with confidence and a positive attitude, showing no hesitation in getting involved and giving things a go. She is proactive, dependable and eager to learn, taking on each responsibility with care and enthusiasm.
Her willingness to step in, support the team and learn through has already made her a valued part of the salon environment. With her open mindset and dedication, she is building a strong foundation for a promising career in hairdressing.
